HATCH: GREEN LIVING MARKETS

Hatch on Oxford Road, is set to host Manchester’s biggest green living lifestyle experience with a seasonal programme of sustainable markets.

Starting Friday 27th March until Sunday 29th March.  It’s the perfect free day out for all the family. With over 30 independent, sustainable brands as well as live entertainment, eco-friendly workshops and street food pop ups.  Open from 5-9pm on Friday, 11am-7pm on Saturday and 12-6pm on Sunday.

Eco-conscious shoppers

Expect a fabulous, earth friendly shopping experience via a curated selection of traders who will bring a selection of sustainable products from the worlds of fashion, lifestyle, luxury, home and beauty.

Help Conquer Fast Fashion

Find stunning, ethical and sustainable apparel from the likes of Manchester-based The Bee Thrive, as well as Phloem Clothing, Bamboo and Cherished Pieces.  Plus retro and upcycled finds from Evolve Vintage and Kookie Vintage. There’ll be homewares from Lit Candles, Beeswax Wraps, Yorkshire Blankets and We Love Plants; sustainable beauty and bathroom via Tecorra and Zed Bees; sustainable jewellery from Musa Mundo and The Mountain and Me; plus food from Eighth Day, Bird and Blend Tea, the Finest Honey and Bread in Common.

As well as shopping there’ll be sustainable living workshops running throughout the day including:

  • Kids Scrunchie & Bow Tie Making by Stitched Up
  • Terrarium Making
  • Art Brazil ‘Recycled Sounds’ Popup
  • Organic Wine Tasting
  • Seitan Making Workshop

The Hatch music stage will be hosting lives acts all weekend to celebrate the Green Living Markets too with DJ Rick Donoghue returning for an electric mix of funk and soul accompanied by saxophonist Dan Berry, drag queens The Real Banksie and Violet Vogue, live performances from a steel drum band, Art Brazil and much more.

The Green Living experience will sit alongside Hatch’s excellent retail and lifestyle offering, perfect for weekend browsing or even just to get the kids (fur babies too) off the street, under cover and entertained!
