Don’t Keep Mum: The Podcast

Back in November we finally launched Don’t Keep Mum the podcast. For two years I batted the idea about looking for other bloggers to collaborate with, but life just always happened. Until it was that I realised life ‘happening’ was what the podcast needed to be about. So, here it is, this is NOT a polished podcast! This is a no bars, safe place for all things parenting. #DontKeepMum and join the discussion by leaving your thoughts in the comments below.

Episodes

We open the first series with our parent panel discussing all their favourite, parent based ‘A’ words: Antenatal classes, Activities, Autonomy & Arseholes!

In episode two I managed to rope my mum on to our parent panel. It was great having the matriarch help us discuss all the ‘B’ words: Boobs, belly buttons, bogies, babies and “bouncing back”.

For the third episode of the series we shared our experiences with over coaching, c-sections, constipation and all the crying!

The emotional black mailing of family members hit high for episode 4, when I manage to get the baby daddy to let me grill him. Booberrit dad stepped up to discuss all things dad!

A reoccurring topic at our Don’t Keep Mum events has been the feeling of irrelevance, especially as a professional once babies arrive on the seen. Week five saw me discuss employment and empowerment with careers coach Noels Hammond Jones.

Our original line up reunite for episode 6, our greatest yet (in my humble opinion). In this weeks episode Ana, Emily, Boo & I chat Facebook, Friends & Fannies! Did yours change after having kids?
