COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED!

Gifted

I’ve been very vocal this year about how journaling has really helped to not only organise my life but also my head noise!

Hearing my journey to journaling, Mal Paper gifted me some of their stationary to review as well as an extra set to give away.

Why Journal?

There are the obvious benefits, like a boost in mindfulness, memory and communication skills from journaling. But for me it’s hugely decreased my lockdown fuelled work anxiety. Coping with the juggle struggle of home school and no childcare alongside a full time work schedule has been anything but stress-free.

Mal Paper’s ‘Daily Goal Setter‘ gently guides you through your days, weeks, month and year. And in all honestly it’s saved me, work wise. Not only does my daily goal setter get me in the right head space with a daily gratitude list it breaks down the immediate and longterm tasks and to do’s.

A lovely touch is the reminder to note “great things that happened today” at the bottom of each to do list.

Wellbeing

Gratitude journaling is a great way to boost wellbeing. Mal Paper’s journals and daily desk planners have been constructed to prompt gratitude. Feeling mentally blocked is natural especially given todays climate. Being encouraged to review your daily tasks, wins and moments of happiness is a great way to stimulate thought flow. Giving you a place to begin in order to boost your momentum.

I’m not going to lie, I’m a little in love with my daily goal setter. But I was a little overwhelmed by it to begin with. It’s not set out like your average diary. To begin with it’s not dated. Each day is set for you to be able to log it. A great way to save paper and get extra use out of your journal, by not losing your days off or holiday weeks! It begins with tips for goal setting, establishing routines and assigning/recording tasks effectively.

Next it encourages you to set out your long term, medium and short term goals. Followed by a section of blank calendar style boxes for reviewing each month. Next is your monthly planner, then weekly reviews and lastly the main bulk of diary; your daily bullet point tasks lists, notes and affirmation. Each page with an inspirational quote from the likes of Einstein, Frank and Earhart, to name but a few.

I’ve really enjoyed the simplicity of bullet journaling and am a total convert. To win your own Mal Paper ‘Daily Goal Setter’ Journal, pen and weekly planner pad (see above pic), simply enter via the widget below before midnight of the closing date, with winners announced on March 11th 2020.
