Kourabiedes: Greek Biscuits

Kourabiedes are Christmas biscuits. Soft and crumbly in the centre, whilst crisp on the outside. Their delicious almond crunch goes great with a cuppa. Quick and easy to bake Kourabiedes are our absolute festive, family favourite. They are traditionally baked this time of year, in Greece.

PREP TIME:

15 MINUTES

COOK TIME:

20 MINUTES

Ingredients

 

4.5 cups of cake flour

2 cups of butter

1/2 of cup icing sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 cup of chopped, roasted almonds

Recipe

Mix

Knead

Roll

Cut

Place on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 20 mins at 175°C . Once cooled cover in icing sugar.
